Established in 2004 to provide commuting services to Palestinians in the city of East Jerusalem and its neighborhoods. The Jerusalem Ramallah Bus Company is part of the East Jerusalem United Transportation Association, which owns a total of 320 mini busses and 20 big busses. The Association managed to reclaim the public transportation service in Jerusalem after many years of fragmentation, loss in the number of Busses and the spreading of illegal and uninsured alternative means of transportation. The Association represents sixteen bus companies and it strives to defend their interest and protect their investments
