Palestine Festival of Literature 2016

May 21st to 26th will see the annual Palestine Festival of Literature (PalFest) taking place in cities across historic Palestine. International literary stars - including JM Coetzee, Laila Lalami, Remi Kanazi and Barry Lopez - will perform free, public events in Ramallah, Jerusalem, Haifa and Nablus. PalFest will run parallel events in Gaza City, including film screenings, readings, and workshops. 



By day, the international participants meet with artists, authors, students and activists and go on politico-historical tours. By night, the authors stage free, public readings.
